This collates the information required for the assessment of ballast and cargo tank structures. Based on the experience and practices used by members of the Tanker Structure Co-operation Forum, it covers survey preparation and execution guidelines, maintenance guidelines and survey data analysis. This edition also incorporates IACS Unified Requirement, UR Z Survey and Certification, IACS UR Z10.4 'Hull Surveys of Double Hull Oil Tankers' Rev.16 which will come into force on 1 July 2020.
